Cochlear Implanted Children's Group
Founded by parents whose children have cochlear implants, the CICS Group was formed to help others whose children already have implants and those who are thinking about an implant for their child.
Contact a Family
Contact a Family is the only UK charity providing support and advice to parents whatever the medical condition of their child. They have information on over 1,000 rare syndromes and rare disorders and can often put families in touch with each other.
East 17
The EaST 17 Centre is a collaborative Health and Education centre for families of deaf and hearing impaired children. The Centre is in an Early Years Centre in East London. It provides services to families from the London Boroughs of Redbridge and Waltham Forest and surrounding districts. We are very grateful to the staff and families at this group for letting us take photos of them that have been used on this site.
